Fourth of July Parade

The Spring Valley Neighborhood Association (SVNA) organized Spring Valley’s first-ever entry into the Palisades’ Fourth of July parade this year. The “float” was a vintage Boston whaler decked out in red, white, and blue. Being pulled behind the boat was Kurt Ela “skiing” on rollerblades!

The SVNA float won the Founder’s Day Award. Over 50 Spring Valley neighbors participated in the parade, wearing custom green and white SVNA t-shirts. A huge “thank you” to everyone who participated, particularly Paige and Kurt Ela, who lent their boat and hosted the decorating party at their home.

SVNA looks forward to an even bigger and better show next year. For those who typically head out of town for the fourth of July, this is worth staying in town for next year!

Spring in the Valley

The event took place on Saturday April 21st from 11-2pm and the weather was perfect!

There were two large moon bounces, an inflatable obstacle course, face painting, a balloon twister and crafts and guitar sing-a-longs. We handed out popcorn and treats and Compass Coffee and Pizza Paradiso introduced themselves to the neighbors as they are moving into Spring Valley Village this Fall.

There were so many neighbors and families who came out and it was so successful we're excited to announce it will be put on again next year!

Thank you to SVNA's co-hosts Stork Childbirth Education and Spring Valley Pediatrics. Also, thank you to local businesses who sponsored: The Reishman Group, Little Graces Playgroup, Dr.Roya Pilcher, 116 Collection, and Dr. Perez.
